Part one of our photographic record of the restoration & replacement works carried out by Mossfords at The Aberfan Cemetery Memorial. In 2007, we embarked on a crucial mission: the restoration of Aberfan Cemetery's memorial section. Over time, the original Portland and limestone archways and memorials had succumbed to the effects of weathering and natural erosion. The solution? For all to be replaced, including some new additional archways, with specially sourced Pearl White Granite. This granite not only exudes a light and uplifting appearance but also offers the added durability compared to limestones.
