Come along with me on this QUICK RIP while I also do a bit of a deep dive into Moore’s Law - which is that computing power is going to get twice as fast and smaller every two years. As a result, most modern technology now have very few precious metals and things worth going after. Most of this modern stuff is really for parts and repair and reselling. So Moore's law is ensuring that the quality of eWaste in the future is going to be less because we work in a volume business, we want heavier, metal ridden things. Why am I still hopeful for the future of eWaste? One, only 15% of eWaste is currently recycled, and two, with the Internet of Things, all these smart devices like your refrigerator that has a tablet at the front, or your exercise mirrors, are also going to be recycled in the future.
