FULL VIDEO: The History of Ewes "How They Escape From Death To Ghana" (Explained in Twi)

King Agorkorli was a ruler of Nortsie in western side of Africa. His leadership was based on justice and hardship. He used his people to build a thick giant wall around his kingdom against his enemies. This made his people referred to him as a wicked king. One joyful evening, the town folks were playing and fight broke between The king’s Nephew known as Dzedua and Aga, one of the town folks. Dzedua beat Aga to comma and dashed away. The Dogbos took their brother Aga to a hideout, healed him and returned to the King asking for Justice as his Nephew had killed their brother during a fight. King Agorkorli out of pain granted his next of kin to be slaughtered in the evil forest. His own rules could not be reversed. The pain hunted him many times. Many days later, the rumor reached the King that Aga, who was alleged to have been killed, was in a hideout. His anger was out of control as he ordered his guards to punish everyone in the village, elderly ones being taken to evil forest for slaughter and live burial. The Dogbos managed to escape with Tegli, the most intelligent elder in the village, in a thick deep forest. Tegli usually gave them advice and encouraged them during the hard times. Aga and his companion were spotted one hot afternoon by the guards and chased but fortunately, Aga escaped and his companion was arrested and buried alive. The hardship kept growing and Tegli advised them to start pouring liquid such as dirty water, urine etc. on the bush side of the wall. These acts were mostly carried by the women in the village and monitored by Asor. One night, they broke the wall after it was soften and escaped walking backwards. The King could not contain the pain seeing his people run away from him. He sent his guards after them but it was too late.
