TW for brief mention of incest/abuse Basically I really feel like being a critical fan is important, and it's especially interesting to me as a person, but I also am growing increasingly uncomfortable with how this healthy way of analysing and consuming media is being turned into a way to bully people who don't agree. There are obviously levels to this, and I am talking specifically about liking problematic fiction. In real life it's very different. I just feel like as someone who often posts feminist or social justice media critique I need to condemn this trend, because it's something I despise. It also gives everyone else a bad name when people do this.
