Leopard attacks a man in Thalawakele, Sri Lanka.

A male leopard that entered a house in Koomwood Subdivision, Loki Garden, Thalawakele, was caught alive amid a fierce struggle and taken to the Nuwara Eliya Veterinary Hospital. When the leopard climbed onto the roof of the house chasing a dog, the roof and collapsed and the animal had fallen into the house. The people of the house had been terrified as they saw a leopard which was about 6 feet long. Meanwhile, a 46-year-old man from the estate who went to see the leopard inside the house was attacked by the leopard and was admitted to Nuwara Eliya Hospital. Others in the house locked the house, came out and informed the police about the same. After this, the police informed the Nuwara Eliya Wildlife Departments and they visited the spot and rescued the leopard after giving it an anaesthetic injection amid great difficulty.
