Insulating Garage, DIY, Cellulose Attic and Walls

I am here to show the details of insulating our garage. We did this project ourselves; DIY using cellulose insulation. The attic is open-blown of cellulose. We installed an average depth of 30 inches, which will settle to an average R-value of R-100. Before blowing the insulation we built our own insulation dams and air chutes. These will keep the cellulose in-place on the ceiling, instead of falling down onto the soffits. The air chutes direct the airflow up and over the cellulose to prevent wind-washing. The walls are 2x6, 24 inches on center. The cellulose will make an R-20 in the walls. The ratio here is way off. The under-slab insulation is R-56, the attic R-100, and walls R-20. The reason is basically, I ran out of money during the build. I built the garage over the course of two years and incomes changed. If I didn't have my financial restraint I would have built out a double stud wall and dense-packed the whole thing. My original plan was to build a double stud from the concrete slab, all the way to the ceiling. This would have provided enough depth for about an R-51 in the walls.
