I have fielded a ton of questions lately about what are the right tires to run on the front for astro turf and carpet racing. In this video I tell you from A to Z what you need to consider. It starts with the wheel. For Truck and 4wd you run the standard wheel but for 2wd you cut it down to make it narrow. The Proline wheel is great for this because it stays super stiff due to the super strong webbing inside. For 2wd, you don't run any foam inside the tire. You just put the tire on the wheel and glue it up. For 4wd and Truck, you should start with the white open cell foam and use the Closed cell foam as a tuning aid for when you have too much steering and need to take some out. In terms of compound the Z3 provides the best balance of wear-vs-traction. However the Z4 will provide you maximum traction but wear a little bit faster. #prolineracing #teamxray
