What's up guys! In this episode, Madeline is going to try 6'8" Firewire Seaside & Beyond for the first time. She is an intermediate beginner and wants to step down in board size from 7'6" Barahona Easy to be able to improve her surfing, doing more turns and feeling comfortable on shorter size board. Firewire Seaside and Beyond is a bigger version of the Firewire Seaside. It has a flat rocker, small lift in the tail, a few concaves on the bottom, plenty of foam in the chest area which allow you to have a good paddle speed, get into the waves early especially in the crowded lineup and fly through the sections with a glide. If you’re looking for a mid-length surfboard that would work in all conditions with a shortboard feel then I would highly recommend checking out The Seaside & Beyond model in LFT construction.
