Potassium Permanganate And Alcohol + Glycerin = Surprising Chemical Reaction (Science Experiment)

A little over a year ago I did a pretty cool science experiment with potassium permanganate and glycerin, which made a so-called chemical volcano. That episode was one of my favorite science experiments I'd ever done. So now I decided to try something different as I knew it reacted rapidly with alcohol, I decided to see how it reacted with an alcohol and glycerin mixture. It wasn't nearly as exciting as I'd hoped for, it lit up a little, but it was mostly just a lot of smoke and stinky vapor. Still, this definitely falls under the category "Don't Try This At Home". Also, it's a lesson that cool-sounding science premises do not always yield awesome results. You may have found it more exciting than did I, and that's cool if you did, but I did this as an example of ideas you expect to be really cool but are actually a bit of a letdown. That's the fun part about science, you get lame results sometimes but that makes the awesome ones all that much sweeter when things actually work out as planned, or the times they work out even better than as planned. But this was also a great way for me to get rid of the leftover potassium permanganate. Are there other science videos you want to see me do? I have a few others planned. However, I am starting to run out of archive videos to post regularly, so we're going to start to see bigger and bigger gaps between songs if I don't get my inspiration to create back as well as my motivation to work on YouTube. A lot of that will depend on how I'm feeling over the next six months to a year, as I'm not in a state of mind to create new songs and videos right now for YouTube or for anyone. Every video I've filmed since March was scripted and planned prior to March. Same with every music video and song that you'll see posted on here. I'm not done with music or science, just my archive is running out now. But I'll keep on keeping on for now. I hope that things turn around for me.
