How Viking Ship Builders Changed the World Forever

A well-known, well-investigated topic, the film tries to approach the subject as a whole but in some selective detail, as the spectrum of viking-period ships would require a couple of feature-length films! From the well-preserved Gokstad find by Nicolay Nicolaysen to what boats could be its 'ancestors'. I attempts to figure out who could have built it - and what is the current state of affairs for these well over thousand-year old ships.
