First Dua: اللّهُـمَّ أَسْـلَمْتُ نَفْـسي إِلَـيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْـتُ أَمْـري إِلَـيْكَ، وَوَجَّـهْتُ وَجْـهي إِلَـيْكَ، وَأَلْـجَـاْتُ ظَهـري إِلَـيْكَ، رَغْبَـةً وَرَهْـبَةً إِلَـيْكَ، لا مَلْجَـأَ وَلا مَنْـجـا مِنْـكَ إِلاّ إِلَـيْكَ، آمَنْـتُ بِكِتـابِكَ الّـذي أَنْزَلْـتَ وَبِنَبِـيِّـكَ الّـذي أَرْسَلْـت (Hisn al-Muslim) اللّهُـمَّ أَسْـلَمْتُ نَفْـسي إِلَـيْكَ O Allah, I submit myself to You, وَفَوَّضْـتُ أَمْـري إِلَـيْكَ And I entrust my affairs to You, وَوَجَّـهْتُ وَجْـهي إِلَـيْكَ And I turn my face to You, وَأَلْـجَـاْتُ ظَهـري إِلَـيْكَ And I lay myself down - depending upon You, رَغْبَـةً وَرَهْـبَةً إِلَـيْكَ hoping in You and fearing You. لا مَلْجَـأَ وَلا مَنْـجـا مِنْـكَ إِلاّ إِلَـيْكَ There is no refuge, and no escape from You, except to You. آمَنْـتُ بِكِتـابِكَ الّـذي أَنْزَلْـتَ I believe in Your Book (the Qur'an) that You revealed, وَبِنَبِـيِّـكَ الّـذي أَرْسَلْـت and the Prophet whom You sent. Second Dua: حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ، عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ. (Hisn al-Muslim) حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ Allah is sufficient for me. لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ There is no god worthy of worship except Him. عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ I have placed my trust in Him alone وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ. and He is the Lord of the Magnificent Throne.
