Dark Mart: A timelapse of a run at the current development stage

Pirate Software hosted a game jam during the last two weeks of July and I felt that it would be a great opportunity to try to learn some new game development skills and create a new game. So I came up with this little prototype called "Dark Mart". The premise of the game is the player defeats enemies and gathers their essences. Then during the shop phase, they can exchange essences with the alchemist for powers, gold and potions. This is a timelapse of the game in its current state that I was able to complete within the time limit of the game jam. If there is any interest, I may continue the project and make some more improvements to it once the game jam has ended. Want to try it for yourself? Here's the link to the game page!
