Stitch along session 1 | 1800’s teacup embroidery design |

Welcome to the first of our community stitch along sessions which will run as premieres (so you can join the text chat while the video is showing) and stitch along. In each weekly session we will stitch a different 1800s embroidery design which I will share ahead of the session so you can trace it onto your vintage linen or piece of fabric and pick out what colour and type of threads you want to stitch with. I’m really excited to be bringing these antique designs from the 1800s back to life. Here’s the hash tag to use when posting your stitched pieces on Facebook or instagram: #stitchalong1800srevival Here’s a link to the Facebook group where you can post your photos of your stitched pieces pr chat about this project: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/42P5... Here’s a link to my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/craft_with_... The source site for all the designs is: http://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org The particular resource that I’m using for this stitch along in this video is: http://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org/... The teacup design is on page 109 in the above pdf and a copy of the design is on my channel’s community page as a single image so you can print it out or trace the design off your screen or monitor onto a blank Doily or linen:    • Запись   I’m really excited that I’ll get to chat with you in real time again while we’re doing this community stitch along project. This project will be great for beginners and more experienced slow stitchers who want to expand their collection of embroidered motifs to include in their projects like slow stitch quilts or the #Roxysjournalofstitchery Field Notes Edith Holden project. I’ll be including my pieces in my Roxy’s a journal of Stitchery Treasure Hunt slow stitch quilt and my field notes journal too. Here’s a link to my slow stitch quilt playlist:    • Slow stitch quilt   Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheers, Christine Create and craft with Christine
