Be it for an engagement ring, nice pendant, or cool pair of earrings, a fine cut gemstone is an absolutely essential element. Very little we know and we care about how it was before transforming into this sparkling, brilliant piece of natural marvel. Natural blue topaz is an amazing semi-precious stone with a light greenish-blue hue that can be mesmerizing when cut into precision. It is obviously not at the range of sapphires and rubies but still a quite magnificent stone. Here I cut a natural blue topaz rough of about 10 carats into an oval shape. The final product is 3.4 carats and the last bit of the video showing the faceted gemstone is taken under natural sunlight in the late afternoon.
