Governments to conduct workshop today for asset monetization plan

For the government’s assets monetization plan, the government is planning to have a workshop today where they would identify across hundred assets to be put on the block over a span of few months and approximately 330 officials from government sectors such as Niti Aayog and others will be present over there. The government also said that they would be introducing a national asset monetization pipeline and the monetization of closely hundred of assets that are owned by the government are going to be put up. The workshop today is also likely to discuss the ways of assets sales as to whether it is going to be inside or through open tenders.
