A Change Of Focus: Ford Focus ST-Line 2019 Review

Since it replaced the Escort 20 years ago, the Ford Focus has gone from strength-to-strength in the UK and has cemented itself as one of the nation's favourite cars. The fourth generation model is here and it's clear Ford has been very busy with making changes. The new model features new looks, a new interior, new engines, a new gearbox, a new platform and more space. Ford, then, has not become complacent, but is the new model any good? I tested it recently to find out. More specifically, I tested the ST-Line, which is the sportier model out of the bunch. Despite this, it's actually fitted with the new 1.5 litre EcoBlue diesel engine, which kicks out 120hp with 300Nm of torque. This power is fed to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox.
