You are going to need access to a computer or laptop with internet access. If you have an old Garmin device that does not have much internal memory. For the video I selected the United Kingdom map. 3, Click on Download Map Now button. 4, Select the Windows.exe version (must be using a Windows PC) and download it. 5, Install the map you just installed to your computer. Don't worry no viruses are in these maps. 6, Now that you have installed the map data to your computer. Open the web browser again and go here to download Map installer: https://www8.garmin.com/support/downl... 7, Download Map installer and install it. 8, Now it's time to connect your Garmin to your computer. Connect it via the provided USB cable. If you plan on installing the maps to the SD card. Make sure you have inserted the SD card into the Garmin. 9, Once Map Install has installed. Open up Map installer. 10, Once Map Install is open. Where it says Device select your garmin or SD card and press next. 11, At the bottom of the next page. Select the OSM map and select next. 12, You will now see the map you have selected. Select all over the map and select next. Then press install. Your maps will now install this will take about 30 minutes.
