Source Audio's new Collider combines Delay + Reverb algorithms from their well loved Ventris Reverb and Nemesis Delay. High quality / high fidelity stereo effects engines that sound gorgeous on synth - so I've chosen to do just that. Best enjoyed with headphones / proper speakers as I am outputting the pedal in Stereo. With my faithful KORG DW-8000 analog poly synth from 1985 I show how to use presets, activate reverb trails, and how to unlock the selector dial to be able to select any algorithm from either side (run two of the same type of effect at once). I explore a bunch of combinations of sounds best suited for dreamy synthscapes. I do not demonstrate every possible delay and reverb combination as this pedal is vast and there are other Collider videos that most likely walk-through the sounds with guitar. They also have a Neuro editing app and One Series software to further tweak and sculpt detailed presets on the fly. Press play, lay back and enjoy the sound. * I also realize I fell in love with the unnatural SHIMMER adding that gorgeous ethereal octave effect. The Collider auto-detects the Inputs and Outputs that are being used and accordingly routes every delay and reverb effect engine in Mono-to-Mono, Mono-to-Stereo, or Stereo-to-Stereo modes. It is also possible to select between series, parallel, and split stereo modes, when both engines are engaged.
