This is for all of you who have been wanting me to do this for a long time and is a basic tutorial on how to make one the easy way. This video is not for the lampshade 'puristst' whose work is absolutely amazing and who take months to make on lampshade. This video is for those of you who would like to learn how to make a shade for their own home and in the least complicated way. I have been making traditional lampshades since my mother taught me over 40 years ago - so a very long time. The end result is still beautiful. I hope you find it helpful - as this is my first video doing this please excuse any imperfections in the actual video! I am still learning about all this technology. If I get enough subscriptions and likes I will add more 'How To videos" around these lampshades. There is so much to learn.
