Video review of the awesome Yamaha THR10X 10 watt amp. This is a very versatile little amp. The tones we used in the video were the basic presets that came with the amp. This amp can also be powered with 8 AA batteries. The lights behind the grill can be set to be on or off whenever the amp is in use. Guest Musician - Erik Thomas There has been absolutely no post processing to any of the tracks so you can hear exactly what the amp sounds like in a mix. I am playing on a Schecter Exotic Star with the Schecter SuperRock II pickups. Erik is playing on a 1984 Charvel with an EMG 81 pickup. The amp was recorded with an SM57 into a focusrite preamp, as well as using the usb connection to record some of the tracks direct.
