Non-stop running Pendulum Clock 3D printed, fully automatic self winding (remontoire)

Don’t worry, if you forgot to wind up your clock. The clock itself will do it for you... (Enable Subtitle) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:482... A hidden, fully automatic mechanism winds the clock. The weight of the clock automatically climbs back to the upper position, so the clock works continuously. This method of “winding” can be used for many weight-driven clocks (pendulum, etc.). The clock can still be wound up, the traditional way, as it has been possible so far. All modifications remain hidden, nothing appears on the original hardware of the clock, indicating that it can wind itself up automatically. Originally, I just wanted to use it as a safety mechanism so that when I forget to lift the weight, the weight goes up on its own to ensure the clock runs non-stop. But it works so well that I don’t even wind up the clock anymore, I let it work continuously. I only correct the time once a week... Update 22.05.2021: Added a new clock face (thumbnail photo). My clock has been running non-stop without manually winding for 6 weeks now… Update 28.09.2021: The clock has been running continuously for almost half a year. I have never had to wind it manually. The pendulum has been swinging more than 15 million times.... Update 10.12.2021: After 240 days of continuous operation (the clock was never manually wound) the battery in the winder was discharged. They were simple no-name alkaline batteries I bought at a discount store. The battery has been replaced and the clock works again... I think it would last up to a year by further optimizing the clock and the winding mechanism...
