Kapaa Bike Path

The Multi-Use Path in Kapaa, commonly called The Bike Path, is a great place to spend some of your time on Kauai. It's currently (2022) several miles in length and is planned to be much longer when it's eventually completed. The entire length is beautiful but the section north of Kapaa has some stunning views. All of it is fully accessible, regardless of the method that moves you. Walk it, bike it, skateboard or rollerblade it. In every case, you'll have the opportunity to experience breathtaking views of Kauai's east-side coastline. Several pavilions along the path provide shelter from the sun and the occasional outburst of rain. The pavilions are an excellent place to stop and enjoy the company of friends and maybe have a drink or something to eat. Stop at one of the shops in Kapaa that rents bikes and get one with a basket to carry your picnic. We hope you have an awesome time!
