Malabar Spinach Sukka ವಾಳ್ಚೆ ಭಾಜಿ ಸುಕಿ ಬಸಳೆ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಪಲ್ಯ This is very easy preparation of spinach made in mangalore. It takes only 15 minutes to prepare this fish eith very less ingredients. I have shown here cooker method. If you are doing in a pot or vessel then add leaves after the stems have cooked. Ingredients: Malabar Spinach 1 bunch Onion sliced 1 Tomato small sliced 1 Red dry chillies 2-3 Crushed Garlic 2-3 Coconut 1/2 cup Salt to taste Oil 2-3 tblsp Method : 1. Clean and chop stems and leaves separately. 2. Heat oil in a cooker, fry Crushed Chillies and Garlic. 3. Add sliced onion, tomato, stems and leaves. 4. Add salt and grated coconut. 5. Close the lid and cook until one whistle on medium flame. 6. Cool for 5 minutes and then mix well and adjust salt if required. 7. You can have as a side dish. 8. Spinach will leave water while cooking, do no need to add any extra water.
