While I was filming at SEMA in Las Vegas a family sized tent caught my eye. It was the SUV tent model #84000 ($379.99) by NAPIER OUTDOORS. I was intrigued by this tent because of a few things... 1. It was huge! It could sleep 6 people not including who ever you could fit in the vehicle. 2. It attached to your vehicle so you can always be within arms length of anything important in your vehicle such as a firearm for protection against animals. Its just comforting to have immediate access to your vehicle instead of having to get dressed to walk over to your vehicle from a stand alone ground tent. 3. Since its attached to your vehicle it won't blow away in from a wind gust or nasty rain storm. 4. On top of all this it had an awning for sunny days, a rainfly for rainy days and a detachable screen room! Thats a lot of features. I think everyone should have a decent sized tent not only for camping fun with the family but also as an emergency shelter in case of a natural disaster where you might be forced out of your house.
