You'd think it'd be an easy task to make this medley because I already had the songs recorded, right? Nope. I had to go back and rerecord everything again and make sure that the transitions between songs worked so I had to change some parts. The mixing and mastering process was like a mini version of the process I went through while doing my Marvel album last year, I had to tweak each song individually and make sure everything worked well together but I'm very happy with how it turned out. I noticed over the last few weeks that my songs were lacking something, I couldn't figure it out for a while, but eventually I realised that I was being scared of the extreme frequencies, so the sub-bass (less than 100Hz) and the high treble (10kHz+). I was afraid of making the songs too bass-y or too screechy so I basically just EQ'd out most of those frequencies which left it sounding a bit flat to me. So any aspiring musicians out there, don't be afraid of the sub bass or treble, they're there for a reason! If you enjoyed please consider leaving a like, favourite, comment or subscribe!
