DOG PHOTOSHOOT - How to work with clients and photograph dogs on leashes for easy editing!

Sometimes dogs aren't perfectly trained and they may need to stay on lead for the dog photography session. That's ok! In today's video you join me on a shoot to see how I direct the client and owner (Lana) and photograph the dog (Percy) in a way that means lead removal is super straightforward in editing afterwards and everyone stays safe. This dog photoshoot was for a complete panel so I only needed a few images and Percy was the perfect model. How the owner holds the leash is really important when photographing dogs on leads, but it's not the only thing. Take notes! FAQ: ❓ Why is your lens hood on backwards? It's there because if I need it for flare then it's literally right there, but if I don't need it then it stays there. Either way, it's not far away and I can grab it if I need it. 👌 ❓ Why are you taking a photo with no dog or owner in shot? Because this is the quickest way to remove a leash and owner without having to clone a thousand things out of the photograph 🤓 ❓ Why does Lana stand to one side so far? Because this is a great way to minimise cloning around the dogs body 👍 ❓ How do I remove the leash afterwards?
