RetroTINK 5X - Generic 4:3 Mode (1080p OVER) Sega Megadrive/Genesis Footage
It's really hard to find solid footage of the Generic 4:3 mode on YouTube - it's mostly all optimised stuff. For me Generic 4:3 for 240p content from the 16-bit era is quite a step down from the OSSC due to the 4:2:2 colour space which results in some ugly ass artefacts in areas where chunky pixels meet. This is most evident in the white highlights on Headdy and Ristar. I still think the TINK 5X is a great device but I feel the reviews always say "4:3 generic is fine" but then move onto all the optimised stuff. What are your thoughts on the TINK 5X?
