You want to prepare the biodiesel in a room that is at least 60 degrees C because the chemical reaction will not proceed to completion if the temperature is too low. 2. label all your containers as "Toxic—Only Use for Making Biodiesel. 3. If you like, you can keep the glycerin for other projects. You can either carefully pour off the biodiesel or use a pump or baster to pull the biodiesel off of the glycerin. 8. You Should Wash Biodiesel at least 5 times with water. Biodiesel can be used in several ways, but it's important to consider your specific context and vehicle compatibility before trying it. Compatibility: Most modern diesel engines can handle low blends of biodiesel (B5 or B20) without modification. Check your vehicle owner's manual for specific recommendations. Higher blends (B50, B100) may require modifications and are not always recommended.
