Kayak Fishing in the UK with Snapper. Welcome to my kayak fishing videos! I first started in 2006 and have done well over 1000 launches in that time, fishing in England, Scotland, Wales, France, America and South Africa in that time. I have learnt from trial and error the best ways to launch, land and anchor a fishig kayak safely, how to paddle, how to self-rescue and re-enter kayaks after a capsize and have paddled a wide range of kayaks from short surf boats to long sea kayaks from every major manufacturer including RTM, Ocean Kayak, Jackson, Wilderness Systems, DAG, Stealth, Perception, Hobie, Necky and Feelfree. For me, the best kayaks of the bunch are virtually the same - the Ocean Kayak Scupper Pro and RTM Tempo which are both hard-wearing, fast, stable and very seaworthy sit on tops. I have caught so many species from these that I cannot begin to list them all, from sticklebacks and minnows to pike and largemouth bass in freshwater and from whitebait through to tope in the sea. Plenty of cod, plenty of bass, plenty of smoothound, plenty of thornback ray and plenty of mackerel have been brought aboard, taken home and eaten too! I love species hunting and have to date caught well over 50 different species in the UK alone! I have been active on many forums including Anglian Kayak Angling, Anglersafloat, anglersnet, world sea fishing, swka and others where my catch reports were always popular. I currently write features for Sea Angler Magazine and worked for Johnson Outdoors UK where I was kayak fishing consultant and product manager for Humminbird fishfinders and Lendal Paddles. I have used a wide range of equipment and have previously been sponsored by Typhoon Palm Lendal Ocean Kayak RTM Humminbird Pacific Action Navionics and Fladen whose fishing tackle I have used exclusively since 2012. If its wet I will paddle there - I don't mind if it is windy or rough, its all good fun. Mostly I can be found fishing off the coast of suffolk, England in the lowestoft area, mostly at corton and hopton. I like sea kayaking, kayak fishing and surf kayaking but fishing is probably my first choice
