Hello War Barn fans. Today I took a quick video of my Hanomag SS 20. The civilian equivalent is the RL20. The Luftwaffe used this to pull almost any small trailer that needed to be moved including aircraft. Examples of things pulled with this vehicle are: Fuel Trailers Starter carts Aircraft cockpit heaters Flak Weapons and accessories. Ammo Trailers Etc. Etc It is a 4 cylinder diesel engine. Less than 3,000 were made, according to one source, making this oddball vehicle extremely rare. I think I stated in the video that less then 10,000 were made. But I stand corrected. Even less than that were made. Like less than a third of that #. I am missing some tid- bits like turn signals and the trailer light.
