Here's a simple way to add ruching (gathering) to a dress. I would recommend measuring your dress while it's on to determine where you would like the ruching to start and stop. You may want to mark your material for reference. It's important to remember to only stretch the elastic as you sew it in without stretching your dress. A couple other notes: My machine's lights work fine in person, but appear to blink when recorded on camera and my tension is way to high because my toddler rolled it up when I was looking (I typically sew with it set to 5 not 8.5) Feel free to ask any questions you might have in the comments below :) Thanks for watching!
