South Park Mall Then and Now

South Park Mall Then and Now! Well, it is finally here! Take a trip back in time with us as we walk this historic mall and reminisce about the stores that once occupied this beautiful building. The Walker boys (Mark and Barry) of the "If You Grew Up in Southern Hills, Shreveport” fame walked with us and talked about the different stores that were once here! Now, remember, it has been a long time since some of these stores were here so forgive us if we get something wrong or miss something! There were a lot of stores at one time and the mall was teeming with people! Please feel free to comment your stories and any corrections to our tour (please be nice, lol). Much thanks to Summer Grove Baptist Church for preserving this piece of Shreveport history and thanks also to Northwest Louisiana Archives at LSUS for saving the photos so that future generations can experience a glimpse of what all of us experienced back in the good old days!
