How to Blur or Remove Background in Camtasia (2 methods)

Here are two ways to remove or blur your background in Camtasia. Blurring with AI will also work like background blur in Zoom. First, I explain how to use the traditional chroma key or remove color effect by modifying parameters like tolerance and softness. I also discuss the importance of screen lighting and choosing the right color. Second, I introduce a new, AI-driven effect released in Camtasia 2023 that identifies the human shape and removes the background around it. I discuss limitations of the new effect such as inability to remove backgrounds behind objects like headphones and microphones, and tricks to perfect it by combining it with the remove color effect.
