Presenter Darshan Kobla, Senior Director at Microsoft, describes some of the challenges with modern silicon designs in his presentation delivered as part of the Siemens Diamond Event at ITC 2023 Abstract: Microsoft is well known for software but today hardware is a major part of the business. Microsoft Cloud offers best-in-class products and solutions. This talk will describe some of the DFT challenges with the modern silicon designs. It will cover plug-and-play DFT architectures and solutions that enabled extremely fast development and device bring-up. Bio: Darshan Kobla is a Senior Director with Microsoft, leading Test Strategy for all products segments. His team additionally focuses on Pathfinding, evaluating and adopting industry trends in test with a laser focus on test cost, quality and time to market. Prior to joining Microsoft, Darshan spent about two decades at Intel Corporation in various roles.
