Mee Siam Kuah (with gravy) Singapore Style

Delicious Singaporean Mee Siam Kuah recipe 🍜 Soak rice noodles in cold water for at least 4 hours 🌶️ Make sambal with garlic, onion, chili powder, and Kashmiri chili 🦐 Blend dried shrimp with half of sambal mixture 🍲 Simmer taochu, tamarind juice, water, sugar, and salt for gravy 🥚 Garnish with fried tofu, bean sprouts, boiled egg, chives, and sambal to taste Ingredients 400g rice noodles Beans sprouts 80g dried shrimp 1 onion Same shallot or small red onion. 25 dried chili ( I used chili powder chili) 7 cloves of garlic 4 tbsp. of tauchu salt and sugar to your taste.( add 3 tbsp sugar , you may want to increase more of the sugar so taste them first before adding extra) lemon size tamarind (thai tamarind ) squeeze with 500ml of water [ Different tamarind has different levels of sourness so please adjust to your taste ] For the garnishing Chinese chives ( kuchai) Tofu Eggs 2 liter of water including the tamarind juice. salt and sugar to taste.
