I thought I'd hop on the trend and show you what a day in the life of a Google Security Engineering Intern looks like. There aren't a lot of videos explaining what cybersecurity students and interns do, so I thought of creating a vlog myself. :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHOAMI Hey there! Scripting languages: A scripting language or script language is a programming language for a runtime system that automates the execution of tasks that would otherwise be performed individually by a human operator. Scripting languages are usually interpreted at runtime rather than compiled. IP address: An IP address is a unique address that identifies a device on the internet or a local network. VPN: A virtual private network extends a private network across a public network and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network. Terminal: A terminal is simply a text-based interface to the computer. Command Line Interface: A command-line interface processes commands to a computer program in the form of lines of text. The program which handles the interface is called a command-line interpreter or command-line processor. Containerized Environment: Containerization involves bundling an application together with all of its related configuration files, libraries, and dependencies required for it to run in an efficient and bug-free way across different computing environments.
