This Far Eastern guitar and bass strap from Lekata has some really great features that set it apart from the run of the mill alternatives. Can this be used for all types of guitars? I was offered to review a product from a small selection from a company called Lekato. The makers design products in the USA and manufacture them in China to help reduce the unit cost to guitarists in the case of this strap. I chose to look at the strap for a review because it is designed for guitar AND bass guitar too, and from what I could see it looked to have a pretty interesting design. You will see under the strap that there are small soft padded nodules that help the strap to be very comfortable when in use - and if you play 7 or 8 string guitars or bass guitar this strap will be a godsend. It includes leather components as well as the soft pads and other materials, some of which are extremely robust - like the nylon strapping that is reminiscent of a car seat belt, and of course the leather extremities are very strong. I take a close up look at this strap, offer a few comments and give a very respectable score for the unit under review that I think is a very fair score based on MY USE of the strap... for some people this strap would be perfect! Also included in the package are two strap lock sets (rubber type similar to Fender) and six picks (2x light 2x medium and 2x heavy) all at a very realistic pricing structure.
