Yarn: Fyberspates.com (https://fyberspates.com/vivacious-4ply ) Vivacious 4 ply fingering weight merino yarn, 399yd/100g. Yarn amount and colorways: 3 skeins of Blush and 1 skein of Grape. I modified where I changed yarn colors due to the fact that I had 2 colors verses the 4 recommended in the pattern. I love the finished cardigan. It is cozy and a great weight to wear all the time! I find heavier weight sweaters to be too warm for anything but outside when it is really cold so a fingering weight one is super useful. I reach for it when I am a bit chilly inside the house and it is perfect! Construction is unique and knit in MANY pieces. You really need to read through it before you begin knitting. There is a lot of reverse stockinette stitch and you do need to use the excel tables to keep track of the cable and various increases. There is also a good amount of seaming! One plus about knitting the garment in multiple pieces is that you never have giant sweater on your needles that you have to tote around. All in all, I love the finished product and the knitting process was okay. So 5 stars for the garment and 3 stars for the process of knitting it.
