MEET OUR DESIGNERS Lauri Oliver | DESIGN CONSULTANT [email protected] Lauri Oliver’s introduction into the design industry was purely happenstance, when a friend of hers opened their own furniture store and needed help running it. She caught the design bug and the rest was history. From then on, Lauri has accumulated 25 years of interior design experience and relishes in creating spaces that are beautiful, comfortable, and purposeful. When working with Lauri, clients are wowed by her thoughtful, loyal, and attentive personality; these attributes allow her to completely connect with her clients to help them create spaces that are a true representation of their individuality and lifestyle. To Lauri, good design offers “plenty of layers of textures and patterns, and always good lighting.” When looking for inspiration, you can find Lauri at the vast array of museums that the Washington DC area has to offer. “The Hirshhorn is my favorite and provides so much creative inspiration for me.” Another great source of inspiration for Lauri is now Cantoni, which provides her with just the right breadth of luxurious modern designs to exercise her creative genius and create something that is truly special and unique. Marian Kerolos | INTERIOR DESIGNER [email protected] If Marian Kerolos could describe her interior design style in one word, it would be elegant. “I’ve always believed that in a space, less is more,” said Marian. “I love to play with the shapes of designs to create movement within a space, creating a positive atmosphere for my clients.” Combining her past experience at Theodores and Demorais International, plus her organized and risk-taking personality, Marian is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge to create successful designs. Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, Marian grew up knowing that she wanted to be an interior designer. As a child, she would always be on site with her father, who was an electrical engineer. She was always drawn to the floor plans that her father used and would dream about being part of the team that would create projects that would help society. Marian’s signature look consists of simple and chic spaces that tend to use minimal elements and contrasting tones for an attractive look. The same can be said for her personal style; you can expect to find Marian in an ensemble of classic black with comfortable heels to match for an all-over elegant look. Will Joyner | DESIGN CONSULTANT [email protected] When furnishing your home, it’s important that your interior designer has an artistic eye for the nuances of great modern design. With Will Joyner, creating the space of your dreams becomes a breeze with his fun-loving attitude and knack for perfection. Before his venture into interior design, Will was a Graphic Designer for The Washington Post for over 10 years and spent several years in men’s fashion sales. Most recently, he honed his interior designer skills at a well-known modern furnishings store. Will wants to take his design background to the next level, and he believes that interior design is the perfect vehicle for useful creativity. His design style can be described as cohesive, comfortable, and visually appealing, and he achieves these three things by implementing a few key factors: scale, color, texture, and something unexpected.
