TV Martí, 1997 (read description)

Hello again… This is not TV DX as such. Rather it’s a recording I made over the air of TV Martí, from 1997, which was using a balloon (blimp) known as “Fat Albert”, 10,000 feet above the Florida Keys, where I was at a motel at the time. TV Martí used channel 13 and only ran from 3:30 am to 6:00 am Eastern time in 1997. It was aimed at Cuba; due to the hyper-directionality, I myself only caught it one time at my home in Broward County FL. You will note that they ran “La Semana” twice—the second time wasn’t as good a picture as the first. The ID may have only played one time. When it came on at 3:30 it was right into “La Semana.” The only other programs that day that I know were a music video show and that documentary you see mentioning Key West.
