Note immediately that using the mechanical key to unlock the car will likely set off the alarm, so don't panic -- the alarm will turn off when the car is started. The EV9 offers up a difficult to find a remove key hole cover, but uses the Kia standard back up start procedure. This vehicle's mechanical key is provided separate from the key fob. This back up process will work to get you in and going. Of course, starting the car assumes that the start battery is good. And if not, we will can get you inside and ready for a jump start. And yes, an EV can sometimes need a jump start! Look for more video help with other push button start cars here on YouTube or get text and image help at DashboardSymbols.com. And if we helped and you see the "Thanks" button below the video, please lend your support to our efforts. #keyfobs #DeadKeySolutions #kiaev9 #keylessentry #pushbutton ------------------------------------------------------------------- Remember that only proper service and repair procedures will ensure the safe and reliable operation of your car.
