No Hollywood magic here today. But Ric brought today's California Zephyr #5 into the Fort Morgan depot at 0546 MDT (1 min. late on departure). He had P42s #134 & #15 power the 8-car consist to a stop with car 7 to the parking area platform for passenger service to 6 departing passengers and 3 new patrons. Meanwhile, Mr. Darrell stepped from the diner with a delivery of coffee and a smile as well as greetings via the camera. It was nice to have him back. With the station work safely completed, the high ball was given and on a clear signal at west Ft. Morgan CP, Ric ramped up the amps to the traction motors moving the train west toward its next stop at Denver's Union Station.
