Mega Man II (Game Boy) -- Ending

Last we left our hero, he'd done the unthinkable... he'd apparently acquired a weapon from the final boss! In this case, it's the tiny "bullet" of a homing missile with a face that it used in the last phase of battle. Now, in an uncharacteristically violent means of putting Wily's caper to rest, Mega Man actually FIRES it at the fleeing Wily Capsule and the gizmo falls to earth and leaves behind a cartoony skull-shaped mushroom cloud emanating from the planetary impact site. Bet you wish you'd just done the usual falling to your knees and groveling bit, eh Wily? So there's really not much more to be said, but I wanted to break things up at their logical intervals, and as such the Ending gets to sit by its own. Well, technically it's an ending and a cast list... oddly there are no credits for this game besides the little nonspecific blurbs on the title screen. Well, thanks for sticking it out with me on the one and only Mega Man game I'd ever played on the Game Boy... and indeed it wouldn't be 'til the Advance era that I would repeat the process. It took me a long time to suddenly set in with total Mega Man freak status.
