I review the SwitchMote, a smart IoT wireless wall switch kit sold by lowpowerlab.com. Made in Michigan, USA! UPDATE December 11, 2016: There is new code for the SwitchMote that only requires 1 upload to the SwitchMote and then use puTTY to configure. Secondary upload of different code is no longer required! This switch is designed to switch typical A/C loads like a light switch would in your home using relays (up to 10 amps at 250 VAC per circuit). Comes in several configurations. My kit is a 3-button, 2 relay type of configuration kit. The 3rd button could remotely trigger events in my home automation system, like opening or closing my garage door. Normally the new SwitchMote WILL show up automatically on this Dashboard screen as soon as one of the buttons on the SwitchMote is pressed, which is what I expected when recording this.
