Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Wakefield Westgate on the East Coast Main Line where services are seen by LNER, Northern, CrossCountry and Grand Central. Wakefield Westgate was a brilliant station which again was small but had so much variety to it. The views towards Leeds were amazing with a very good track view so you know when trains are approaching. The station is laid out in a very good way with a concourse which was so big but I didn't expect it to be. The station also had some nice traction turn up and very varied too, certainly not a bad station for this. Definitely worth visiting here for sure.
