My blacksmith husband made a homemade die to make coins with to use for medieval reenactment. To make a coin die, my husband pounds the image in with punches. Follow along as he shows step by step on how he punches the pattern into the die. ❤️ SUBSCRIBE IF YOU LIKE THIS VIDEO AND WANT MORE ❤️ Once the coin dies have been made, he sets one die on the bottom side, puts a blank coin in the middle, and puts the other coin die on the top side. Once this is set up, he takes a hammer and beats the impression into the coin. Voilà, a coin has been made!
