Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT's) are killing you're Diesel, and you don't even know it. Well, the EGT's won't kill your engine, but they will tell you if something else is trying to. EGT's tell you how hard your engine is working. The harder the engine is worked, the higher the EGT's will be.
