I've been having pretty good luck cutting hair at home - cutting my own hair and my kids'! But this time one of my twin girls wanted a "boy haircut" (like daddy) so I decided to attempt a pixie haircut! I should have watched some tutorials, it didn't come out great... hope you enjoy the behind the scenes! I call this particular unique pixie cut "disaster chic" LOL! But she loves and that's what matters! Does this fall under haircut fails? I love a good pixie cut, one of my favorite hairstyles for short hair (though I love the traditional bob I gave her sister has more, and it sure was easier!). Short hair is so hard! How to cut girls hair is especially tricky, with boys you can kinda just shave it and call it a day LOL! This is certainly NOT a "step by step how to cut hair at home tutorial", but maybe will give you confidence that ANYONE can cut hair, you need to be in the "it's just hair, have fun" mind frame, and you should probably watch some tutorials and cut along with a good tutorial by a professional!!
