Performing a marathon 32-song one hour and 45 minute set for the Doo-Wop Society of Southern California in Long Beach on July 13, 1996, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge perform three songs in rapid succession from Johnny's days at Coed Records as the lead singer for the Crests and as a solo artist. "(Gee) But I'd Give The World", issued as the flip side of "Step By Step" in 1960, "Pretty Little Angel", the Crests' 1958 debut on the label, and "What A Surprise", issued as by Johnny alone in 1961, were typically performed by request or in extended sets only. The group consists of Johnny Maestro singing lead with original Del-Satins and Brooklyn Bridge members Les Cauchi and Freddy Ferrara, founding Bridge bassist-vocalist Jim Rosica, and longtime Bridge members Marty D'Amico, Ed Lisciandro, Lou Agiesta and Jim Sarle. Downloading this set for private enjoyment is welcome. Downloading and reposting it in whole or in part is infringement and is PROHIBITED.
