Artist Biography: Purple Nightmare has been a vibrant spark in the world of punk rock for a little over 10 years. The Rummer brothers, Chad (bass and vocals) and Brad (lead vocals and guitar), along with drummer Casey Husted and guitarist Nick Chaffin, have been impressing audiences and musicians alike with their fast-paced, straight-forward take on punk rock coupled with their ability to deliver technicality. Originating out of the town of Ithaca, Michigan, the band has been rocking the underground scene of the Midwest and satisfying the musical pallets of anyone their music reverberates to. Purple Nightmare has its roots in the musical settings of punk rock, but the band echoes the sounds of classical rock, metal, ska, reggae, and even a little country just for good measure. Purple Nightmare consists of simple men with a simple passion – writing and performing electrifying music that will lift you out of your seats, get your blood rushing, and leave you asking for more. Purple Nightmare performs punk rock the way it is supposed to be played.
